SESSION COOKIES

Our Site uses session cookies to keep track of your shopping cart. Not all cookies are bad. First-party cookies are used by websites to identify you from previous visits and often speed up webpage loading. Third party cookies are the ones that track website browsing. Session cookies are non-persistent, temporary storage of data that assist in things like a check-out procedure. The information contained in session cookies are deleted after you complete your transacion or navigate away from the website.


To accept cookies if you are using a PC running Windows...
Internet Explorer 7

Open Internet Explorer

From the Command Bar, click TOOLS» select Internet Options The Internet Options dialog box appears.

Select the Privacy tab
NOTE: If you are working on a network computer (e.g., Campus Network computers), certain Privacy settings cannot be changed.

In the Settings section, click ADVANCED
The Advanced Privacy Settings dialog box appears.

In the Cookies section, select Override automatic cookie handling



Under First-party Cookies, select the appropriate option
NOTE: First-party cookies can save page load time and ensure website functionality. By blocking first-party cookies, previously viewed websites will not be able to identify you when you return; it may take longer for those pages to load, and in some cases the website will not function properly.

Under Third-party Cookies, select the appropriate option
NOTE: Blocking third-party cookies prevents advertisers from tracking your browsing history.

To allow session cookies, select Always allow session cookies.

Click OK

When finished, click OK


Internet Explorer 6

1. Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.

2. Click the Privacy tab.

3. Select a security level to at least Medium.

-or-

Click Custom Level, and then click the checkbox for the option to Allow session cookies

4. Click on Apply.

5. Click on OK.


Internet Explorer 5

1. Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.

2. Click the Securitytab.

3. Click the Internetzone.

4. Select a security level other than High.

-or-

Click Custom Level, scroll to the Cookies section, and then click Enable for the option Allow per session cookies (not stored)

5. Click on Apply.

6. Click on OK.


Internet Explorer 4

1. Click View, and then click Internet Options.

2. Click the Advanced tab.

3. Scroll to the Security section.

4. Under Cookies, click Always accept cookies.

5. Click on Apply.

6. Click on OK.


Internet Explorer 3

1. You cannot disable cookies in this version of Internet Explorer, but you can turn the cookies warning on and off. Here is how you can turn the warning off so that cookies will be accepted automatically.

2. Click View, and then click Options.

3. Click the Advanced tab.

Under Warnings, click to "de-select" Warn before accepting cookies.

5. Click on Apply.

6. Click on OK.


Netscape Communicator 4

1. Click Edit, and then click Preferences.

2. Click Advanced in the menu on the left-hand (white background) side of the screen.

3. Under Cookies on the right-hand part of the screen (gray background), click Accept all cookies.


Netscape Navigator 3

1. You cannot disable cookies in this version of Netscape, but you can turn the cookies warning on and off. Here is how you can turn the warning off so that cookies will be accepted automatically.

2. Click Options, and then choose Network Preferences.

3. Click Protocols tab.

4. Under Show an Alert Before, click to "de-select" Accepting a Cookie.


America Online versions 4 and 5

Follow the instructions below only if you are using the browser that came with AOL. If you opened another browser outside of AOL, follow the directions for that browser as described above.

1. Click on Start from your Windows 95/98 taskbar.

2. Point at Settings.

3. Click on Control Panels.

4. Click on the Internet icon. The Internet Properties window will appear.

5. Click on the Advanced tab from within the Internet properties window.

6. Scroll down until you see the Cookies icon.

7. Click Always accept cookies.

8. Click on Apply.

9. Click on OK.


America Online version 5 (alternate instructions)

1. In the AOL top menu bar, click on My AOL.

2. Select Preferences from the drop down menu.

3. In the Preferences window, click on WWW. The AOL Internet Properties window will appear.

4. Click on the Security tab

5. Click on the Internet zone, then click on the Custom button on the bottom of the window. The Security Settings window will appear.

6. Scroll down until you see Cookies.

7. Click Enable.

8. Click on OK.


America Online version 4 (alternate instructions) and version 3

1. Click on MY AOL on your AOL Toolbar.

2. Select Preferences.

3. Click on the WWW icon. The AOL Internet Properties window will appear.

4. Click on the Advanced tab from within the AOL Internet Properties window.

5. Click to "de-select" Warn before accepting cookies.


To accept cookies if you are using a Macintosh computer...

Internet Explorer 4 and 3

1. Click Edit, and then click Preferences.

2. Click the Receiving Files arrow.

3. Click the Cookies button.

4. Under When receiving cookies, select never ask.

5. Click OK.


Netscape Communicator 4

1. Click Edit, and then click Preferences.

America Online version 3

This version of AOL for the Macintosh does not accept cookies. You must upgrade to AOL 4 in order to use cookies.
